Prison Break Season 3 rumors and spoilers

Prison Break fans clamoring for some of the sweaty intrigue of season one are in for a treat. Rumors and spoilers are starting to leak heavily from the set now that production has begun and it looks like the show will be returning to its gritty big house grit, and beyond. Be warned, spoilers past this point.
Prison Break entered production earlier this month in Texas, which is surprisingly standing in for Panama. The brief glimpse we got of the interior of Sona at the end of last season was nothing compared to the full interior and exterior sets that were built in preparation for the shoot.

Fans have been dying to find out just how much of this season will take place in the Sona, and the answer seems to be ‘most of it.’ Even though we know the mysterious guys in white coats are anticipating Michael (Wentworth Miller) to escape quickly, the rumor is that the central plot for season three will evolve inside the prison, and Michael may just decide to stay in there for a while.

That is all well and good as far as Michael’s plot is concerned, but what about Linc (Dominic Purcell)? Troubling rumors early this year indicated that one of the brothers, and most suspect Lincoln, may not survive very long into the third season. The rumor could have been started just to reinforce the fan’s imperative to tune in for the beginning of the season.

Since Michael’s importance to a shadowy organization has been established, and we know most of the action will take place within Sona, it does seem like a safe bet that if a brother is going, it would be Lincoln.

To further reinforce this morbid notion, it is now common knowledge in the spoiler community that a woman will approach Lincoln in the first episode and give him a mysterious iPod. New casting info confirms that the woman in question is an agent for ‘The Company,’ the top secret project monitoring Michael’s prison breaking activities. Is Lincoln being setup?

Interesting changes coming with 24:Season 7

The producers know the mistakes they did the last season. For now the biggest change is the shift of operations from Los Angeles to Washington D.C. The new season will be CTU free which will be taking place in the aftermath of a government decision to disband the organization. Looks like we are in for a big change...

Michael is coming back to the island this season..

It is now confirmed that, Michael (Harold Perrineau) will be coming back this season. This may not be surprise for devoted fans of Lost, it is always nice to hear an official announcement :)

News from Desperate Housewives set

Sources tell that, one the hit ladies of the show will be leaving soon. For most of the fans, this may seem like Edie Britt but this may not be the case. I am pretty sure that this will Gabrielle. (Eva Longoria).I guess, with all the eyes on her, and the marriage, she will be looking for something different. We will have to wait and see..

59th Primetime Emmy Award nominees have been announced..

I must admit, I am very happy to see Kiefer Sutherland nominated for Best Actor again. No worries he will get it :)

I guess there will also be a head to head for Best Supporting Actor, with nominees, Masi Oka (Heroes),Terry O'Quinn (Lost), Michael Emerson (Lost), but Mr. Emerson is my favorite.

Needless to say, Heroes will be triumphant on its first year, and will be the Best Drama of 2007.

The award ceremony will be on September 16, go for it Jack..

Still a long way to go for Jack, but let's check...

  • According to a TV Guide interview with co-executive producer Manny Coto, "Jack starts next season in a very different place than any season so far. Let's put it this way: I wouldn't be surprised if there's no CTU next year." He also says that "There will not be a ticking clock on a nuclear device. We're hewing much closer to real life: tighter, more personal, more difficult for Jack. There may even be a plot thread that doesn't take place on U.S. soil. In a sense, it's a reboot — in location and personnel. We're going to be introducing a new stable of characters, along with a couple of old ones. Jack's not living under an alias. He's found a place he thinks he belongs and a job he enjoys doing that doesn't involve the government. What's also refreshing is the choice of villain: It's not a Muslim terrorist. In fact, it's not a terrorist at all. And the character is fascinating, someone with a supremely dark past who's done something horrific and whose ambition is o regain his stature in the world."

  • Writer and Executive Producer Michael Loceff has confirmed, "what we are going for, is really taking this to the personal level," unlike this season's focus on nuclear threats, the President getting hurt and possible war. Loceff says "you just can't go much bigger than that, unless you put a spacesuit on Jack Bauer and shoot him into orbit. Which you know, we may get there. but we're not going to be there yet." "Next season expect smaller story lines for the characters, including Jack. Loceff adds "and how he tries to resolve a particularly thorny conflict in the final episode." Loceff tells us Season 7 will focus on smaller and more intense story lines. But, the specifics are still a mystery even for Loceff and the writers.

  • Fox President Peter Liguori said: "We’ve really heard what the loyal audience has said to us. The good news is simply this: It has really fuelled the show runners to be more daring with what they're going to do next year."

  • According to TV Guide's Ausiello Report, the production of Season 7 has been delayed for approximately three weeks. The writers had completely scrapped their current story which is the cause of the delay, actress Mary Lynn Rajskub revealed.

  • Executive producer Howard Gordon told iF Magazine that the new season is set three years after the events of the sixth season and will be set entirely in Washington, D.C. or New York and will start at 7am.

  • Director Jon Cassar and 24 executive producers Evan Katz, Manny Coto, and David Fury made some revelations at the Comic-con '07 about season 7. They stated that the show will now officially take place in D.C., and that CTU no longer exists since it was disbanded by the government. Also, they stated that at the beginning of the season Jack will be appearing before the Senate Committee to answer questions about his actions in the past, some of which they think may have been criminal. They also hinted that Tony may still be alive, and that Chloe will return but they did not say how or when. Additionally, they confirmed there would be no prequel to bridge the gap between seasons 6 and 7.
